why is today a scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

After lunch, Jesse and I took our coworker-Jason's car (black, manual, Miata convertable!) to Dairy Queen. But since it was such a nice day (and such a nice car), we took the long way there. And when we got in the car, the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack was playing, so we had to get rid of that (you can't rockout to it), and we replaced it with some Beck. Then we drove to New Mexico to get our heads straight (not really).

Driving a nice car makes me realize how much mine sucks. I hate that I put my foot down on the accellerator and not much happens... Oh well... I'll get over it.

Today, Kurt and I started working out my full-time employment stuff. I'll finally be making some real money. And it's not like I need tons of money, I'm just tired of owing Jerkface money (it makes me really sad and I feel like the biggest asshole). And then I'm reluctant to spend any money on anything at all because I owe Jerkface money. It just sucks.

My summer webdevelopment class is turning out to be pretty cool. There are a lot of things that I never learned properly (e.g.the subtle, yet important difference between the <span> and <div> tags). I think I'll be a better webdeveloper after taking it.
