why am i still sick?
December 03, 2002, 10:18 amI finished Metroid Prime and Star Fox Adventures over the weekend. Metroid Prime was pretty freakin' awesome! I think I completed 76% at around 14 hours, which is much better than I got for Super Metroid (around 56% at 5 hours, I think).
I have to say it: Star Fox Adventures really upset me. I was very, very disappointed with the final boss. Why the fuck am I playing a Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time ripoff and suddenly, without warning, turns into Star Fox 64? Fuck you, Rare. Putting Andross in and having essentially the same final boss as Star Fox 64 was really fucking lame. The only positive thing about Star Fox Adventures is that the graphics are really nice... but so much of the game feels like a hack. And the map sucks.
The last prototype for CIS 420 will be presented today or Thursday. Our system isn't as good as I would've liked it to be... but I worked on it most of my Thanksgiving break, so if people don't like it, they can fuck off. If our teacher tries to give me shit about something not working, I'm going to say, Sure, I'll implement this ridiculous feature. You can call me at my work number and I'll bill you for 125 dollars per hour.
I've done more than my share of work for this class (not that I'm saying my group hasn't worked, but that I've delivered a lot more than your average CIS 420 student). I'm no longer giving away my cleverness for this lame class.
Our stickers came in. They're pretty cool, but damn, it took around three months to get them!
Why am I still sick? I think it's been more than three weeks... This sucks.
