For a second there, going home, watching the Pianist again, and weeping sounded like a good idea. But then I busted out laughing.

I should stop listening to this overly-dramatic music!

Also, John Vanderslice emailed me yesterday, thanking me for the CDs and the book that I sent him. And if I had a birthday party, and he were in the area, I think he's probably come to it.
