What I Did On My Vacation.
October 02, 2006, 04:36 pmI took this past week off with the intention of relaxing. I had taken only one day off this year (in April).
This is a list of stuff that I did which is most certainly not comprehensive:
- learned the guitar solo to We Will Rock You
- figured out how the Edge of U2 gets his trademark sound (it's not 1/16th note delay! it's 3/16th note delay! that's why it gets syncopated and crosses the bar so much!)
- worked on some music
- figured out a lot of stuff with Kontakt, particularly with drum sounds
- washed and waxed my car
- washed and waxed Nickie's car
- visited my Grandfather
- sleep in a lot
Things I wanted to try to do, but didn't:
- build my DIY ReAmps
- build a replacement circuit for this cheap LDC mic
- have lunch with JB
- uh, sleep more?
