What Do You Do Now?
November 04, 2003, 01:48 pmMy mother emailed me this morning that their cabin-next-door-neighbors' cabin burned down to the ground last night. I can't believe it. Their neighbors have had that cabin there for over thirty years! They were among the first people to build down there and are responsible for important things like getting running water there.
I just can't imagine being in my eighties and having a cabin that I built with my own hands burn to the ground. What do you do after that?
