Tonight, Tonight!

So tonight is our acoustic show. I'm fucking psyched!! We wrote a song the other day and we started playing it just for fun last night in practice. But it's too good not to play, so we're playing it at the show! Haha! At first I was playing piano and bells parts and it was sounding like a Pinback song, but now I'm playing electric guitar (with significant reverb) and it sounds like a Mazzy Star song. The vocals are very, very Sparklehorse. It's fucking awesome!

Why, yes, I did play it when I got home. And yes, I did indeed rock it the fuck out in my underwear, reminiscent of the scene in Risky Business in which Tom Cruise rocks the house with Old Time Rock 'n Roll. Haha. I'm amusing myself, and I guess that's what's important.
