Three-Point Shootout.
August 09, 2005, 03:08 pmThe new thing in the office these days is three-point shootout on Colin's Nerf basketball goal, where you see how many you can make out of 10 shots from behind the extension cord.
The first week or so, I was horrible. In fact, Colin said that I was "disgracing the goal." But I finally got the hang of it and now it's pretty much even.
But now we're nerding out in fulleffect with a spreadsheet recording our shots, wins, and losses. I'm sure we'll have some graphs and whatnot.
Today, I scored an all-time high of 7/10 and then a few games later, Colin matched me. It's a race to see who can get 10/10!
Why am I telling you this? I should be getting back to work!
Also, I got my 3rd glockenspiel yesterday. I've got to get some brass and aluminum mallets for it and also a stand, but I'm psyched. The weird thing is that I'm sure I'll get another one some day (the really nice orchestral set that Musser makes).
