There's No Excuse.

I hung out with my parents at their cabin this weekend. Usually, it's very relaxing, but I don't feel that relaxed, probably due to a combination of not being able to sleep past 9 AM (those damned dogs walking on hardwood floors) and the Sun coming in through the windows (I guess I could've slept in the bedroom without windows). Oh well.

We watched North By Northwest and the African Queen, and I read Revolution: the Making of the Beatles' White Album and Hal Blaine and the Wrecking Crew. Both were a little disappointing. Revolution is by the same publishers that did Wouldn't It Be Nice: the Making of the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds which is awesome. But Revolution is shorter and has less information. And Hal Blaine's autobiography barely talks about the work he did with Phil Spector. It just glosses over huge time periods. Maybe I was just expecting too much.

I'm still searching for the ultimate MIDI controller. I guess everyone is. (Well, not everyone, but people that use MIDI controllers.) I just want something with around 76 keys that won't break or freak out and will do splits and save presets. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is. Haha.

This is the lamest, crappiest entry ever. I'm sorry.
