the strangest thing happened
February 09, 2003, 07:01 pmThe strangest thing happened: I bought a box of Honey Nut Cheerios (that's not the strange part) and inside was a DVD of The Muppets Take Manhattan! It was fullscreen and only had two-channel audio, but still! I bought a box of cereal for like three dollars and didn't even realize I was getting a DVD of a movie I enjoy watching! While it did have some really annoying AOL advertisements, it was still pretty cool. How weird is that?!
Another strange thing happened today: I finally got around to organizing my bank statements, old paycheck stubs, and bill receipts. Now I have (on paper) every transaction I've ever made since 1998 when I opened my account, as well as every paycheck I've ever received since I got my first real job when I was sixteen.
