The Merediths Saved My Life.
June 14, 2004, 04:31 pmThe show on Friday went pretty well. The bowling alley was pretty cool and we had a crazy Adventures in Babysitting/Pee-wee's Big Adventure moment as we all walked in and out of a biker bar.
I wasn't too sure if the kids were into us while we were playing, but we sold all of our demos, so I guess they liked us.
The rest of my weekend was pretty mellow... mostly just watching movies. My dad called me on Sunday and could tell that I was in a lonely mood. I hope he doesn't worry about me.
We're going into the lab (aka the studio) tonight to work on the demo. I'm psyched. Merediths-related things are what's keeping me going.
I really want to buy either a violin or a cello and start learning to play. The thought of learning the various articulations is just too exciting. Can I quit my job and be a musician full-time? Please?
