the fox kids club is for cool kids

I just found out that yesterday was the birthday of Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Lee, and Jaleel White (Steve Urkel). WTF?!? And Joe Mack (the guy who founded the Mack truck company).

There's this song on the radio that has this chorus:

Hey ladies
When ya man wanna get buck wild
Just go back an' hit 'em up style
Get your hands on his cash
and spend to the last dime for all the hard times
Oh when you go then everything goes
From the crib to the ride and the clothes
So you better let 'em know
If he mess up you gotta hit 'em up
I wonder how many stupid girls will actually take this advice.

I wonder how many cheating boys will have their creditrating destroyed due to this.

I wonder how many stupid girls who "hit 'em up style" are gonna get the shit "hit out of 'em style".

Back in "the day" (aka, from 4th to 6th grade, I think), there was this "cool" thing called the Fox Kids' Club; only cool kids who watch TV in the afternoon are down, you know what I'm sayin'? And they had these "hip" kids that were the hosts and would introduce cartoons and other kid-type shows. And I recently found out that my coworker, Chris, used to share lockers with Fox Kids' Club host Gil. Oh yeah. That's my new claim to fame.

The other day I saw a flash ad on gamespot.com for Star Wars: Rogue Leader; it was enumerating all the good qualities about the game, including the ability to "Be Luke Skywalker". Take that! I couldn't stop laughing... I shrugged it off, thinking it was just a joke but then I went to Toschi Station to pick up some power converters.
