A couple weeks ago, I got a dual-tiered keyboard stand, but when it came in, I wasn't into it. It's really heavy and I was thinking it would look cooler if I had the evolution MIDI controller on the stand and the microKORG on Brian's wheely-case that we put the guitar heads in. With the korg on the case, it's at hip level and suitable for rocknig out (that's how I had my stuff setup when we recorded at VML).

Last night, I finally got off my ass and decided that I'd at least put it together and set it up so that I can play keyboards anytime without having to set the stuff up each time. And after putting it together I realized that it's really fun having both keyboards like that! I can play them both at the same time! And while it's a little weird having the microKORG so high up, it's still good to rock on!

So I'm happy about that.

I also hooked up the M-Audio Delta 44 soundcard that I got for Christmas. It's a 4-in, 4-out soundcard that'll record 24-bit/96kHz with a nice breakout box. I also installed a newer version of Ardour, but it's much buggier and has crashed on me several times. It sounds pretty awesome. I need to setup some speakers to monitor (and get some crazy adapter so that I can use my headphones).
