So How's It Gonna' Be? A Knife, a Gun, a Teenage Magazine?

I finally got my recording software back in a sane state (Joe will be so psyched!), so I worked on a buncha songs this weekend. I'll probably post some of them in a few days. I still have a few small changes I want to make.

I'm loving the songs! The vocals/lyrics that Joe has done for the Tragic Tale of a Kentucky Boy (formerly referred to as the Floyd Collins song), Homo Erectus (I used to just call it Exercises), and the Ballad of Dropkick & Suckerpunch are so fucking good! And I love, love, love his vocals for the newer Song For Mr. Face (Teenage Magazines). Damn, they're good!

My friends Chris & Dan are going to move to Phoenix, AZ sometime in the next few months. It's crazy. Chris and I used to work together at ITD, my first real job. And the last days of ITD, it was just her and me. And then we went to work at ESI together. Weird.

Since they're moving, they're getting rid of a buncha old junk they no longer need or want to worry about moving. Yesterday, I went to their house to get a tv ('cause my tv is seriously one of the shittiest tv's in existence!), but I ended up hanging out there for a couple hours, taking them out to Qdoba, and I came home with a tv, a buncha audio software, and a boxful of Sanrio stuff that Christine got me for my birthday! Haha. I have a Hello Kitty ice-tray that makes little Hello ice cubes!! And shrinky dinks!!

I'm going to miss those guys! I know they'll be back 'cause Christine's family lives in Louisville, but still... it's crazy!

Amber came over last night and we watched Dummy and Something's Gotta Give. It was awesome. We've been hanging out more frequently, which a-okay with me.
