pronoun reference problems

Good morning class. Today we'll be talking about pronoun reference problems. Let's begin with an example, from my previous entry:

My boss was chosen in this "contest" that the television station my dad works for is sponsoring, where he and this lady go on a blinddate tomorrow (Valentine's day) live on tv.
Note how I have the word "he" in bold. It's because I'm a moron. Also, it's ambiguous, because you (specifically, YOU Ericka! Quit reading in the back of my classroom and pay attention!) might think that I'm saying that "my dad" is going on a blind date when I'm really meaning that "my boss" is going on a blind date.

Sheesh!

Also about my sister: she unknowningly launched a mild Denial of Service (DoS) attack on me yesterday. Okay not really. Really, she just sent me like seven emails. It's just fun to tease.
