pizza zealots (aka. kids are jerks)

Today my coworkers and I went to lunch at Mr. Gatti's, but we decided to go all-out and go to the big Mr. Gatti's -- the one that has bumper cars in the gameroom.

So we're pulling into the parking lot and we see all these schoolbusses; uh oh... They're packed with all these little kids (140 of them!). So we run inside to try and beat the rush and then the kids start pouring in; they're being noisy and pushing each other and being kids (aka. jerks). It was total chaos.

What was really funny was seeing them try to go through the buffet: they're too short for the sneeze-guard; they're too short to effectively reach the buffet, so they're reaching up with the spatulas and flipping pieces of pizza everywhere... on the floor, on other pizzas, on other kids... Freakin' hilarious.

I was waiting in line to get some Cherry freakin' Coke when I noticed these two little kids arguing over something (most likely, their place in line). They were saying, “I'm five, get out of my way!”

“I'm six!! I'm older!!”

Then they looked at each other; then up at me. And as I towered over them, I thought, “I'm twentyone!! Gimme my Cherry Coke, yo!”

But we made it in and out without getting puked on, so I'd call it a good day.
