paying for toothpicks == not punkrock
December 12, 2001, 12:58 amToday, for some reason we had an IRC /dcc fight (this involves us sending each other really gross/funny images in our irc channel) and someone got the great idea of going to uglychicks.com (not linking to it, thank you) where they found some really scary, halfnaked, obease people. And then Chris and I were looking through the galleries when we found this girl; I think she's pretty. I could fall in love with a girl with a shaved head.
Lula is also a subject of ITD fun. She won $500 from the Kentucky Lottery (check it out) and then, she had some plastic surgery done and took a long vacation (over here).
Apparently, this is my new girlfriend. Actually, she's Kurts friend. Weird.
Wordsmith.org is a fun place to waste the day.
So... the new guitar. It's good and bad. It's really nice, but there are things that need fixing. I need to replace the nut and I had to do the ol' wood-toothpick + wood-glue trick to fix a stripped strap button screwhole. (heh. I'm so not punkrock... I actually paid $.52 for a box of toothpicks. I only needed one, but I couldn't bring myself to steal it.) This past weekend was the first time I got to hear it on my real amp, and, despite my constant calamity, it sounded awesome.
Sometimes I like to sit in the office with my headphones on but not listen to any music. I get to hear what the people are me are saying but they think that I'm listening to music and can't hear them. It's interesting, but somewhat dangerous; do I really want to know what my coworkers think about me?
