Oscillation.
February 22, 2005, 04:13 pmI'm going to write a song called Oscillation that's going to be a ripoff of John Lennon's Isolation. That's how my life feels lately: totally up and down.
We had an interview with Stephen George from the LEO today. It was a lot of fun. Then I went to my car and I had a damned parking ticket!
And I've been working like crazy yesterday and today, which is great because I'm getting a lot finished and feeling good about it. But it seems like the work is still piling up around me.
And we have a really great show on Thursday with Avail & Lucero. And we have a very important show on Saturday, but it's in Norman, OK. I think it's like a 12.5 hour drive!
Last night after practice, I was at home alone. I was reading this John Lennon interview/book and was feeling a little down. And then Brian, Joe, and Nickie started texting and calling me. And it really made me feel good to have friends.
