May 23, 2005, 02:51 pmI watched Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith with Nickie last night. I don't think either of us were really emotionally prepared for it.
It seems that I've been waiting my whole life to watch this movie. I can't remember a time when I didn't know that Obi-Wan and Anakin would have a lightsaber duel and that Anakin would be burned and mamed horribly, and turn into the Darth Vader that we all know and love.
I knew going into this that it would be dark, that nearly all the Jedi would be murdered (including the younglings!), that newborn Luke and Leia would be separated, but it was still emotionally intense to actually see it happen.
I think I need to see a couple more times.
