New Car (it's JB's fault).
May 16, 2003, 05:05 pmI've been thinking about getting a new car sometime in the next few months. I don't trust my 1990 Honda Civic that much and I don't want to get stranded anywhere and I don't want to have to keep wasting money getting it repaired.
Originally, I was looking at buying a 2003 Honda Civic (same model, same color, but with manual transmision). But then JB started talking about this '99 Mazda Miata at the dealer down the street from where we work. And I checked it out online and I think I could get it for like $12,000. I love driving JB's miata and Megan's dad's Miata... I dunno. I kinda like being really boring and lame and driving a “responsible” car. But Miata's get good gas mileage (so I'm told) and it's unlikely that I'd be able to have a sports car when I'm older with kids... Maybe this is the best time to get one?
