Net Etiquette Class.

Okay, kids. Let's practice net etiquette.

Today, I'd like to cite an example to show us what not to do. This jackass/thirteen-year-old/dickwad named “FliggenMan” is participating in a forum about the videogame Planetside, particularly about 'Unfair' or 'Overpowered weapons.

First, let's examine his contribution to the discussion. It may be hard to see, but the only additional content he has provided includes two animated GIFs: one of a smiley-face nodding; the other of a smiley-face ROFL. That's it. WTF?

This brings us to the first lesson: if you don't have anything to contribute to the discussion, keep your lame shit to yourself!

Second. Look at the size of this user's signature. Huge! Two images and a sizeable quote. If the two images were cut, I'd be okay with it. A long quote, so long as it is fewer than 7 lines, can be acceptable.

The Second Lesson: keep your fucking signature short! If your signature is larger than your average post, you need a punch in the face.

I'm going to leave it at that. Class dismissed.
