my shit: it's still not together

Disclaimer: I wrote all this weeks ago... man, I need to get my shit together!

I work in "butchertown", appropriately called because there are a bunch of slaughterhouses nearby. Apparently, Ham and Christmas go hand in hand because I keep seeing these stupid billboards that say things like:

Walk In With A Winter Wonder Ham
Ham, Sweet Ham
and
Home Is Where the Ham Is

Lately, I've been doing things like searching ebay for "l@@k". And it's just damn funny that if you search for "rare", there are 139926 items. Wow. Pretty rare, neh?

School started this past week and, for the most part, I was in a daze. But one thing that brought me out of my daze was that I noticed how everyone around me was scuffing their feet: especially while walking up stairs. And I kept thinking about how odd that was, until I realized that I don't scuff my feet because I roll my feet. And that I roll my feet because I was in marching band for an eternity. Weird.

Several of my classes required me to prove that I'd taken the prerequisites. I guess the school of business is cutting down on that kinda stuff, even though it's stupid. (jerks) Anyway, so I had to print out my transcript and I was looking over it and just the whole thing freaked me out. I have 114 credit hours. And my transcript is three pages long (which doesn't even show any detail from the classes I took at UK and at the community college).

And the whole cronology of it all freaks me out. Like, I can look at the classes that I took in the Fall of '99 when I first transferred here, and it seems like just yesterday. But I'll look at a class that I took last semester and it seems like it was years ago.
