my cat's breath smells like cat food

Wow... Sunday... what a great day!

First, I slept late which was really nice. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately (with finals and the whatnot), so that was really nice.

Then I spent most of the afternoon playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, which continues to rock the casbah. Plus, I'm kicking ass in it (well, I think I'm doing well :)...

I finally got around to cleaning my room; I don't think I'd really cleaned it in such a long time, that months would be a more appropriate measurement than weeks. I found enough cat hair to construct a new cat (hehe... it's funny to think, “New cat construction begins in: 10, 9, 8, 7...”. It would be hilarious if pregnant cats had these LED's displaying countdowns...).

Then -- to top it off -- there was a marathon of The Simpsons episodes. Whee!

It is unfortunate, but I've recently “lost” something that I've had since I was a little kid: my alarmclock. It's this cool GE alarmclock/radio and it has a nice green LED display (quite soothing actually, in comparison to the ugly RED LED display of its replacement). My grandmother gave it to me when I was five or something (she also gave one to my sister because we were in that magical age when grandparents gave both of us presents on our birthdays and often gave us the same present in attempts to curb our fighting... what weirdos!). Unfortunately, my alarmclock has forgotten that whole alarm part... the alarm doesn't go off anymore! The radio works, so I know that the speakers are working. It's really weird.

I'm not going to throw it away because I think I might be able to fix it (if I ever get around to fixing it).

It's funny how we develop relationships with the machines we use. Especially cars. Cars fill such a weird requirement: transportation (duh!), entertainment (think stereo and just driving it around)... I sincerely doubt that the people who pioneered car development thought that the stereo would such an important feature... but they were wrong !!

Speaking of being wrong, my most excellent boss informed me on Friday that the XHTML standard states that tags are in lowercase... and I'm thinking, "Holy crapulence! I've been writing HTML wrong for such a long time!"

How embarrassing!
