mon-ick-ur
November 27, 2001, 10:33 amWhen jerkface and I were looking for apartments a year ago, he used the word "moniker" in an email to me. Ever since then, I've been in love with it. I want to use it in a song.
I finally got around to buying a set of clippers. Shaving my own head took a lot longer than I expected but was fun. I don't think my parents like my hair, especially my mom.
Work has been pretty good lately and I wrote some really good, complicated code for this guy, Ward. But he's a total nutcase! I made some changes to the classes that handle image uploades (applying a regular expression to the filename so that goofballs that name images "me and my dog! that my parent!@$'s owned(his name is ~Ponder~*$@& and I'm a moron!** :).jpg" will not fuck shit up). But unfortunately, some other error handling code that I wrote broke the image uploading process. So he tries and fails to successfully upload images. And tries and fails. He keeps running his head against the wall for Hours and Hours! THEN, he emails me saying he's having a problem. And after I fix some problems and most everything is working well, he'll find a bug and test it and test it and test it and is so surprised when it doesn't automagically get fixed by the will of his testing?!? Jeez, if he'd email me the First Time he had a problem, I'd have fixed all the problems.
I have in my bookmarks folder of webcomics ("smile") a bookmark for User Friendly (no, I'm not linking to it), a webcomic that I've come to really despise, and everyday as I'm checking out all the comics I read, I'm terrified that I'm going to accidentally click it. Of course, I could always delete it, but what's the fun in that?
