October 02, 2001, 07:04 pmI can't believe I keep forgetting! I shaved my head this past Saturday! Actually, my hermana extraordinaire shaved it. All my hair is sitting in a wastebasket in my sisters bathroom, many miles away.
The whole experience is really exciting. I feel totally different. Everytime I walk by a reflective surface and catch a glance of myself as a stranger... it's exhilarating. And driving with the window down, the air rushing over my almost-bare head. Phew. It's like autumn amplified...
I feel like a whole new person. Like I'm ready for new things. I don't think I've been changing enough these last four years... maybe it's time to.
