let the rejoicing begin!

Ugh! Why do people have to be such assholes now, when we should all be thankful for what we have?!? I cite two instances of asshole-jerkface-ism:

I'm very seriously considering shaving my head. Like bald. Meaning there will be absolutely no hair on my scalp. No hair at all. I anticipate that it'll look really horrible and that I'll be embarassed at how creepy my skull will look.

For his niece's fifth birthday, jerkface bought her a Dreamcast. He also got her a used copy of Space Channel 5; naturally, we felt obligated to play through it. At first, I was incredibly frustrated and embarassed because, as a person who has been professionally trained as a percussionist, I should have absolutely NO PROBLEM playing a music/rhythm game. I was doing really poorly, until I learned the secret: look at the screen during the call portion, but look away during your response. Seeing Ulala dance can fuck you up if you wait for her character animation to return to center. After that, I had no problem beating the game. I really enjoyed it -- aside from the fact that I easily beat it within two hours -- and watching Ulala dance made me want to get up and rockout. Plus, you just can't go wrong with Space Michael (woo!). All in all, a fun game and worth the $8 bucks to buy it used.

Today the Nintendo Game Cube launched in Japan:  Let the rejoicing begin!
