Holy shit! So many T.Rex songs turn out to be songs that I have loved for a long time, but never knew who was responsible for them.
The Audio/Video Club got invited to be on this Louisville-area classic rock compilation and I think the new band is going to try to do it (since the a/v club broke up). I think we're going to do a T.Rex song. I really want to do 20th Century Boy, but would still be happy doing Bang a Gong, Cosmic Dancer, or Children of the Revolution.
I played guitar in front of my bathroom mirror the night before last, rockin' away at 20th Century Boy. Oh yeah.
I'm weak. I ordered a MIDI keyboard controller, Kerzweil sound module, &c. yesterday. I'm so psyched.
