“Wanna Change My Clothes / My Hair / My Face”
April 26, 2005, 01:23 pmIf someone were to ask me what I really want right now, I might say, "I'd like more time." It's been weeks since I've read anything. I haven't recorded any music in a couple weeks. (I have been "tinkering" with some things lately. I just haven't gotten anything down.) I haven't worked on piano in a long time.
During practice last night, my Akai MIDI controller was freaking out and randomly changing programs. Ugh. Sometimes I really hate having instruments that don't physically make noise. The MIDI controller's metaphor of a piano or rhodes is so easily ruined. I have some ideas about what it might be and I hope it will work reliably again.
We have a show tomorrow at Waterfront Park. I think it's supposed to be 61 degrees out. Ugh. I wonder if anyone will come. I just found out that we might be playing with Muse this Saturday at Jillians. Crazy.
I need a haircut. I want to buy new clothes. I hope we find another developer soon. I speak in short, simple sentences, like “I like you.”
