Friday, we had a show in Burlington, KY. It was a free, zine release show in this park that reminded me of Freeman Lake. And I thought of how the very first "show" I ever went to was at a gazeebo at Freeman Lake where synapsis played; and I remember being blown away.

I was a little nervous about getting all our stuff there since it's so far away and there are so many possibilities for disaster, but we all managed to make it there with all our stuff. We played second, which was perfectly fine with me. For the most part, our set went off without a problem (with the exception of Jesse breaking his D-string in the first measure of our first song... but was easily fixed and I was pleased with how we handled it).

At one point during our set, some old people that were passing stayed and watched... which was funny. I was tempted to point or wink at them or something...

If you weren't already "privvy" to the "new shit", our website is up. You can also download MP3s of our demo.

I watched Amelie with Megan's family twice last saturday. I liked it a lot. Lately, I've been watching an awful lot of movies with narrators: Amelie, Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, and The Royal Tenenbaums.
