Jaws Audacity.

Busy, busy, busy. But good. We're going into the lab for the weekend in a marathon recording-fest. We're planning and preparing and working on pre-production stuff at the Ranch so we'll be ready. We'll be starting three new songs and I can't wait! It'll be the first time we use the 2" 24-track Studer! Tape!

Joe and Mark started on a new song and it's really awesome. And Joe is revamping Love in the Mountains and it's turning out well. I think it'll have some gospel-ish organ in it (we'll see what we can do with the Lowery and B4 at our disposal).

Jesse and I worked on the bass parts in We All Live Underground and it's so awesome! Really upbeat and bouncy and melodic.

We stayed up late hanging out in Joe's room with a bunch of acoustic guitars, sleighbells, maracas, clavés, singing saw, and our howling vocals. I ran to get our tape recorder, but the hiss was out of control. Next time, we should just throw up a mic and record to Pro Tools.

That reminds me, I need to get my grandfather's 3M Wollensak reel to reel.
