Yesterday was a rough day: clients frustrating me & asking for the impossible, spilling Gatorade on myself multiple times, shitty weather, the list goes on. Thank God for fucking Merediths practice!
We played my new song and Joe had lyrics for it and they're awesome! And Brian rocked some awesome beats and changed the song for the better. It's really coming together. And it looks as if we're going to play it at our January 9th show at the Rudyard Kipling.
It's amazing that after one full-band practice, we have a new song. And the song is really awesome. I love Joe's vocals! Man, it's so fun.
Anyway, today is Friday and I'm off all next week. So maybe the break from work will help me get in better spirits. Plus, I'll get to see my sister and hang out with her.
