In Love With Sound.

I was in a really weird mood yesterday, like I was impatient for things to change, but not really interested in putting forth the required energy. And I was like hyperemotional. I started reading this essay that James Boyk wrote called In Love With Sound. I'm not entirely sure why, but I cried a couple times while reading it.

This one of my favorite lines:

No sound more full of meaning than a voice, no sound more subtle.

And this one too:

Thinking how decadent is an art that damages the very sense it speaks to...

We've got practice tonight and then I think we're getting the keys to the new house. I'm going to try to start moving some of my junk now. (The last time I moved, I waited until the very last minute and didn't have anything packed and it was a horrible calamity.)
