i am windows deficient
November 30, 2002, 01:23 amI suppose there is a lot to say, but I'm not going to say it. I'm much to preoccupied with school crap to do anything else.
I did a lot of work on the CIS 420 project on Thursday night and most of today. I find it sad that not even the people in my group will be able to appreciate how incredibly clever and brilliant my development work has been... I mean, they'll know that it's fancy and it works, but they won't fully grasp what's going on. Oh well. I'm just glad that it'll be over so soon.
Of course, I also have to assemble a portfolio work. I've been such a slacker. I had planned to compile an XML document of my portfolio contents and then develop a XSLT to make HTML and PDF deliverables (and to host on my website). But there just isn't enough time for that now. I know I'm going to end up just typing it all out and cutting & pasting into Microsoft Word or something.
I've been doing all this school work on this crazy Compaq laptop that maybe belongs to Kurt? It makes me want to buy a laptop... like a Apple PowerBook. Phew... I'll get a fancy laptop sometime in the future...
After using Linux exclusively for five years, it's funny how deficient I've become in Windows. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to the fancy new features of Windows XP and 2000. Hahaha... Oh well.
I'm almost finished with Metroid Prime. Man, it's really good. Jerkface tells me that the ending is supposed to be really disappointing. I dont care; I've really enjoyed the game and that's all there is to it.
