July 10, 2002, 05:05 pmI'm such a nerd. My IM client (EveryBuddy) supports IRC and so I added Jerkface to my contact list. How fun is that?!
To test the IRC support, I logged into the IRC server that Jerkface and I use and messaged myself back and forth... pretty sad. And then Christine and I played with everybuddy's auto-translator that uses Babelfish. Freakin' cool. Everybuddy also has a leet-speak filter... hahaha.
Last Saturday I went to see The Powerpuff Girls Movie. I was disappointed. While I acknowlege that they have a number of obstacles to overcome like making something that's accessible to a wide variety of people and the whole 15 minute episode format to 90 minute movie format change... but still... At times, it seemed like they were doing the same thing over and over just to fill time...
Perhaps the most disturbing problem I saw was that the color seemed to be off. And I don't think it was a problem with the particular theatre where I saw the movie... because the color in all the trailers that I saw seemed wrong too.
The music was good though...
