house-sitting / we have buttons

So just when everyone's about to leave work Friday afternoon, Kurt tells us that his girlfriend's father is dying and that he needs to be be with her, but he's supposed to house-sit for his friend. So he suckers Jesse and me into doing it. It's not that bad... kinda far out in Shelbyville. And we have to take care of three dogs, two cats, and a shed of baby chickens (maybe they're toddler chickens, 'cause they're three months old, I think). Jesse and I got Jason to come with us and we brought our accoustic guitars and Jesse's bass and rocked it out.

It's been pretty fun so far.

Last night, before we went out to the house, we went to a party at the apartment of Kristen and Shelley (of The Novas). It was pretty fun. We met this really nice guy, Evan, that's in this band Fizz Gig from Cincinnati. I think we're going to setup a show with them in Louisville and they're going to setup a show with us in Cincinnati. That should be awesome.

Our buttons came in! They're so fucking awesome! It's the same Van-Halen-Rip-off logo on our website. I can't wait until Jesse and I put up the new website. It'll be awesome.
