I said that I didn't know, but did a quick google search and found that Ctrl-s is the command character for scroll lock and that Ctrl-q would resume scrolling. After solving his problem, JB proclaimed, No more errant swap files for me!

In Punch Drunk Love there is this song that was haunting me that had the words “he needs me” over and over. I found out that it's He Needs Me sung by Shelley Duvall on the Popeye soundtrack. Wow. So I spent much of Friday hunting down an mp3 of it.

I was looking over some of my diary application code when I realized that I was doing some dumb stuff. I started making changes and couldn't stop. I ended up breaking it a couple times, but everything's better now. Here are some of the changes I made:
- in admin section, put diarist info into
$_SESSION - change of Entry class constructor
- started working on storing a set of default templates in the database to choose from
- installed new PEAR “binary” and new versions of DB, Auth, & IT
