empiricle evidence that the ps2 will fail
August 24, 2001, 02:05 pmFinally, my claims can be backed up with real, empirical data; now everyone will be able to see with their own eyes just how right I've been all along. Please view this video in Motion Picture Expert Group format.
Note: this is a Japanese commercial (not French) for a PS2 game related to McDonald's in some way (those insane, dancing Monkies are apparently Japanese McDonald's mascots). Finally, I am not responsible for any adverse effects suffered from watching this video. Please consult your doctor prior to viewing if you take heart medication, are pregnant, or think that the PS2 is worth $300.
jerkface recently pointed me to this! I'm only sorry that I hadn't heard of Segata Sanshiro until yesterday. As a SEGA fanboy, I'm honestly ashamed. It's incredibly important that you see the following videos in Audio/Video Interleaved (AVI) format:
- Training :: Segata Sanshiro must be prepared for anything to save the day and trains constantly in preparation for the worst.
- Bomberman :: Quite possibly the best commercial for it's simplicity: Segata Sanshiro faces off against an opponent, grabs said oppenent, throws opponent, opponent explodes in fiery death! Yay!
- Greatest Nine 98 (baseball) :: Our hero Segata Sanshiro scores a HomeRun for the Team! Yay!
- Soccer RPG :: Our hero is not only a master of martial arts, but of soccer as well.
- World Cup 98 :: Another excellent display of Segata Sanshiro's athletic abilities.
- Santa :: It's Christmastime and what do all good little boys and girls get? That's right! Scary Ninjas with Sega Saturns!
- Save the World! :: Segata Sanshiro saves SEGA... and the WORLD!
If, after watching these important commercials that we've ALL missed out on, you feel the need to listen to (and sing) the Segata Sanshiro theme song (which is quite catchy), you can download it here (I could spice things up and provide it in Ogg Vorbis format, but that's way to spackie for me).
