Compare and Contrast.
January 13, 2004, 04:59 pmDamn it. I've got a bunch of work that I need to do and I don't want to do it and I want to keep wasting time, but no one has made any diary/journal/whatever entries. You guys are in trouble!
This is totally unrelated, but I was just talking to someone about the first word that I ever remember reading: Mississippi. I believe it was a spelling word for my sister and it was written on a flashcard with a black sharpie (which I am convinced is my dad's all-time-favorite writing utensil: he seriously writes YORK on everything in black sharpie). I remember seeing the card on the counter in the kitchen and seeing the letterforms and knowing in my brain that these shapes mean Mississippi!! How amazing is that?!
And then I read the book Go Dog Go.
