Car Accident.
December 12, 2006, 11:30 amI was backing out of the parking lot on my way to lunch when this fucking dickhead smashes into my car. I guess this is the first accident I've ever been in.
I was turned around all the way while I was backing out (in fact, the upper-right part of my head hurts from where it smacked into the window, because I was turned around). And this dude that hit me, the first thing he says after asking if I have insurance is, "And you agree that it was your fault?"
Hell no, I don't agree!
He smashed into me!
He claims to have been going only 10mph (do you know how slow that is?) but the damage to my car looks like he was going faster and when he smashed into me, it sure felt like he was going a lot faster than 10mph.
Ugh. This sucks. I just (finally) had my car repainted back in August. I didn't have my car for about three weeks. Now I'm going to have to go through that all over again, and pay another deductible.
