blood soaked and ready to burn

Phew. This morning, I had a midterm in my Marketing class. I'd been putting off studying for it all weekend. I knew it wouldn't have been bad if only I had actually, like, read the fucking book. And I got into class to take the test and it doesn't cover three of the ten chapters it was supposed to be over; notingly, two of the chapters that I actually looked over last night.

I've been such a slacker all year; I haven't even opened three of my books. I really ought to start working harder in school.

Yesterday, I was freakin' out about this midterm and I just wanted to go into work, do the things I absolutely had to do, and get out so that I could go home and study. But so many other things needed to be done. I've got too much shit going on... Tomorrow, I'm going to kickass and take names at work and get some of this shit off my plate!



I'm in a period of mourning; if you haven't heard, the US release of Shenmue II for Dreamcast has been cancelled and the Xbox version has been announced. I guess this means that I'll have an extra forty bucks at the end of November with which to spend on more Gamecube stuff. Jerkface and I were talking about this, and we decided that we have no choice, but to suck it up, and start learning japanese and buy the import version. 'Cause buying an xbox isn't going to happen. Actually, that's not true... I'll buy one when they're $70.

I think that in all honesty, this is a good thing. Mainly because Microsoft is giving SEGA a shit-ton of money. I like SEGA. They make good games. I'll be happy and forgive them just as long as another Space Channel 5 comes out (which should be released on Dreamcast, damnit).



Well, after a long, stinky weekend, I'm the new guitarist for The Audio/Video Club. I'm psyched about it. We practiced Saturday and Sunday and rocked it out. I need to get the tubes in my amp replaced... I need to get a new guitar (eventually)... I can't wait to start playing out.
