March 09, 2004, 12:29 pmI decided to mess around with Ardour last night, but wanted to get the latest version, so I downloaded the latest ALSA, the latest JACK, and the latest Ardour release. I also finally got around to installing some LADSPA plugins, so I messed around with some reverb on my existing recordings. I also figured out how the panning works and how setup the best way to mixdown.
I'm really excited about it again. I want to get a better mic to use for vocals and acoustic guitars. I'm thinking about an AKG C1000S. Brian borrowed one from an intern at VML and we used it to record acoustic guitar & vocals; it sounded pretty good. I dunno.
