A Wizard Should Know Better!

Nickie and I recently watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy again. I've also been thinking a lot about credit (credit scores, interest rates, credit cards, predatory lending practices) and I mixed the two.

I was thinking credit card companies are like Sauron. They give credit cards (Rings of Power) to Humans who are seduced and ultimately ruined.

But maybe that's just a bit dramatic. I mean, spending way too much money in interest is not as bad as turning into a Nazgul, but I do feel that the current lending situation is predatory and I think it really sucks how little people understand about credit and interest.
